Below are some committees that we currently have that you could join or if you would like to simply volunteer for an event, register as a volunteer using the link to the right. The Fundraising Committee solicits and maintains sponsorships for its various events like Zach’s Run. Members of this committee are tasked with developing new ways to raise funds for MPS, Inc. throughout the year while managing existing fundraising channels and activities. The committee is also responsible for creating communications and messaging to attract, maintain and update potential and existing donors on the benefits of supporting our organization and progress that we’ve made.Chairperson: Tara Costantini
Marketing Committee
The Marketing Committee is responsible for assisting developing the organization’s strategic marketing plan, marketing materials, communications, and web sites. This committee maintains the organization’s identity as well as develops new ways to communicate with its sponsors, donors, and affiliates.Chairperson: Christian Blasberg
Public Relations Committee
Public Relations serves as the liaison between the Board and the media preparing all press releases and written correspondence. The committee also creates a Public Relations Strategic Plan each year for events planned by the Board and maintains media clippings for archiving.Chairperson: Jenna Dearth
Zach’s Run Committee
Every year, Making Precious Strides hosts its 5K run, 1-mile fun walk – Zach’s Run. This committee is responsible for organizing the annual event which attracts over 400 participants and raises the greatest portion of proceeds for MPS, Inc. Volunteers are needed to help with the committee year-round as well as the day of event.Co-Chairperson: Cheryl Dearth
